Immigrant Integration promotes mutual benefits for immigrants
and their receiving communities that allow newcomers enhanced
civic participation and improved
economic mobility.
Silicon Valley draws people from everywhere and is one of the most diverse areas in the country. In our region, one-third of our residents are immigrants, nearly half of our workforce is foreign-born and close to two-thirds of those under the age of 18 are children of immigrants. Our continued prosperity and success depends on our ability to build integrated, cohesive communities that honor our shared values of family, hard work and opportunity for all.
